Insurance Policy...
He was a fairly young man...
Only in his fourties...
I sold him an insurance policy about five years ago...
He wasn't a fan of insurance though...
But he bought one just to support me...
Then I received a call about two weeks back...
His widow was glad I made him buy that...
I'm tearing as I'm writing this...
My first case of an insurance claim...
Sad he had to go this way...
Fighting cancer till his very last day...
Now such contributions are important for her...
And I'm glad she has something to get on by...
In my small little way...
I'm just happy to have helped...

I still remember the trainings I attended as an insurance agent five years ago. We were always reminded that facing a claim would be the most touching aspect of this job. When faced with a claim, all the flashbacks of the days when you tried so hard to sell someone the insurance plans just came flooding back. Looking back, I'm glad I did my job to the best of my abilities, at least to most of my relatives. The training words came true, you will never know how important an insurance plan is till a widow comes crying to you and thanking you for that purchase her husband made. Your heart just drops...
