World Cup Germany 2006
Well... Italy deserved to win. They were clearly the best team among all the rest during this World Cup. In every match they played, the Azzuris showed that they were a class above the rest, displaying what total football should be; lovely attacking, strong midfield & a solid defence, moving as a team up & down the field. I'm glad they won. Had France won, it would just have been a good farewell for Zinedine Zidane, nothing more. And he was a disappointment, losing his cool & ending such an illustrious career with a moment of madness that ruined his image for life. Not that he needs to maintain an image anymore coz now he's retired, but what a way to retire. He, more than anyone else, should know better how to behave... I felt for the French players, to me, the French captain was the cause of the loss. He was a let down that brought the entire team down. In the words of Mr Brown... our fave humour columnist who was suspended recently... 'I have nothing left to say'... As for the Mr Brown incident... hmmmmm... I have nothing left to say...
Other updates, my record of getting a job at the first interview still stands @ 100%. But I'm not moving yet, coz the bank loves me, heheheh... just moving within... to a better place where I don't have to work weekends anymore... Yeay!!!
