Today
The wind & rain was at work today - real hard... Knocking on our windows, doors and roof non-stop. Even took out our energy supply. There was a blackout along our whole street. Had no power since 7.45pm till about 9pm. It was darkness. Couldn't study coz there was no light, couldn't cook coz there was no heat on the stove, couldn't bathe coz there was no heater, couldn't get online coz there was no power to switch on my laptop, couldn't watch TV, couldn't do anything, basically. So me and Poji, we both just spread ourselves in our respective beds and cuddled under the sheets. But then again, there was no electric blanket to keep us warm... sigh. This new economy of technological innovations is making us humans dependent even to the very minute of stuffs, such that when the system breaks down, we all become paralysed with regards to our activities. Lucky I didn't have any essays due tomorrow...
Anyway for dinner had:
(1)nachos with salsa sauce and mozarella cheese,
(2)broccoli and mushroom stir-fried with oyster sauce, soy sauce, sambal oelek, sesame seed oil, garlic, pepper and today's theme sauce - thai green curry, and
(3)thai green curry sauce for dipping the nachos.
Sounds like a weird combination ain't it??? Yeah... fusion food...
