Discoveries...
Open Eyes blink* blink*...
I've had three new discoveries the past week...
First: There's a dessert place in Wollongong. It's called 'Southern Crepes' I think. Serves crepes and pancakes and even gado-gado!!! Went there last week and had a fresh loaf of bread served with garlic butter and some sauce that tastes like Twisties (or is it Twisty's? U know that snack...) Anyway, had the chocolate sauce pancake and it tasted soooooooooo good. In terms of presentation it doesn't beat Pancakes On The Rocks but in taste, I'd say it beats POTR hands down...
Second: Went for my first UniMovies eversince I started studying in Wollongong. Basically. it's a weekly thingy where the university hall is transformed into a movie theatre. The screen was so big I'd say it's abt Lido's size and it was just an amazing sight for me to see the Uni hall so crowded. It really felt like a real movie theatre, except that the seats aren't as good as Century Square's. Watched 50 First Dates and Secret Window. It's two movies in a row for three bucks!!!
Now I have sumthin to look forward to... yeay... next week will be watching Starsky & Hutch and The Haunted Mansion.
Third: Found yet another huge shopping mall at Shellharbour. And with it came along a scenic drive by the highway. I've discovered this place more in the past two weeks than the whole of last year! Thanks to my tour guide...
